about

A slightly shorn version of this track features on Momus's record, "Joemus". This was the first track for that record that we produced together and one of the ones I am most happy with. Nick describes the vocals as being sung by a sort ot Tony Newley character, who is trapped in a planetarium and therefor unable to drive.
There's a video for this one on Youtube too!

lyrics

sticky piggy wham wham
fluffy on a cig jam
bringing in the bam, bam
golly, golly

gilly on the wheelback
silky on the steepjack
working on the mail bag
billy, billy

trilly on the flap flap
billy on the gim crack
cracker on the blackjack
sorry, sorry

clicky on a les paul
blicky on a long haul
barry on a back flip

i love you and i miss you and wish that you were here
i don't know where you are, and now i possibly don't care
but geraldine the bombardier has come to make his stand
ickle brummie asks if he can clasp his mummy's hand

titchy click a click track
six gone a long track
stitching up a rich hack
prolly, prolly

sunny on a sunday
bunny on a monday
fanny on sunday
rainy, rainy

trading on a label
fucking on table
punky like a tribble
trick, trick, trip-a-way

in the planetarium, i don't know how to drive
don't know how to love you but i'm glad to be alive
ought to know you've something else i really do admire
i wonder who will tell you that i've set your hair on fire?

about

Joe Germlin Glasgow, UK

Aged just minus eight months Joe Howe (aka Germlin) was entertaining his mother with compositions from inside the womb. As his fingers developed the music became increasingly accomplished. He was born one of triplets, the other two siblings being a normal, healthy sampler and a bouncing 3.2 kilogram modular synthesiser. ... more
